MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Peter Noyes Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is to:
- Promote communication between home, school, and administration
- Develop, organize and sponsor educational enrichment activities
- Organize, support, and/or sponsor community-building events
- Support teachers, specialists and school staff through classroom stipends and appreciation programs
WHO WE ARE
All parents and/or guardians of students who attend Peter Noyes Elementary School in Sudbury, Massachusetts are members of the Noyes PTO.
The PTO is 100% volunteer-run! The more volunteers engage, the lighter the lift. We ask that you consider volunteering in a way that you are able. Several opportunities require minimal to no day-time, in-person commitment. To learn more about opportunities that are available, please visit “Open Positions”.
WHAT PTO FUNDS SUPPORT
- External educational enrichment programs. This is the single largest budget item for the PTO.
- Fun events for the community throughout the academic year, including Popsicles on the Playground, Hopscotch Around the Globe, the Science Fair, the school-wide art show, and more.
- Generous stipends to our teachers and specialists, to supplement curriculum and classroom materials.
- Staff appreciation events.
- Purchase of Blue Folders, a vehicle for teacher-home communication.
