PTO Events

Click on the event for more information such as volunteering or registering (when available)

PTO Meetings - Ongoing

All PTO are meeting are scheduled to be held in the Cafeteria, unless otherwise noted.  Dates and times are subject to change, but will be posted ahead of time.
All parents are encouraged to attend meetings to provide input, find out what is happening in PTO and learn about volunteer opportunities.  Children are welcome to tag along, so don't let younger siblings at home prevent you from being active within PTO.  Hope to see you there!

PTO Hospitality Events for Staff - Ongoing
Throughout the year, the Noyes PTO provides meals or treats to the staff as a thank you for all of their hard work.  Be on the lookout for opportunities to help with these events.

Boo-Hoo Breakfast - First Day of School   9-10am
Kindergarten parents are invited to come into school for coffee and pastries.  PTO representatives are there to answer any questions and Noyes administrators will stop in to say hi.  Best of all, other kindergarten parents both new and old will be there to meet and share stories with.

School Pictures - Mid-September
Individual and class pictures are taken.  An order form will come home in your child's blue folder and orders can also be placed online.  Every child will have their picture taken for the yearbook, regardless of if an order is made.  A picture retake day will be held in October for those children who were absent.

Trunk or Treat - Mid to Late October

Auction & Parent's Night Out
The Spring Event is a great way for the parents of Noyes to get together for a relaxing and amazingly fun evening with dancing, entertainment and an auction. Come out to have fun without the kids and you might even make it home with that coveted Parent Pickup Fast Pass! This year's event will stay close to home, and will be help at No. 29 Sudbury!

Fall Book Fair -  November
This week-long event held in the Noyes library will help you stock those bookshelves with fun and educational books.  The book fair will also be open during the All School Pasta Night so you can bring the whole family for dinner and do a little shopping while you are here.  This is a great way to update your books to keep up with your growing readers and support the PTO at the same time.

Bingo Night
Enjoy a fun family night with live Bingo, continuous cake walks, and a toy shop!

Fun Run

Science Fair - Spring
All children in Kindergarten through 5th grade are encouraged to participate in this educational evening.  All the science fair projects will be evaluated by reviewers and your child scientist will feel the utmost pride in showing off their hard work.  The event is open to the whole Noyes community and filled with hands-on scientific demonstrations and presentations.

Hopscotch Around the Globe - Spring
The Bi-annual event celebrates the various cultures of Noyes families.  The gym is transformed into a plaza of booth with food, crafts and information about the different countries that are represented in our school.

Summer Reading Book Fair – Spring
The summer reading book fair is a wonderful opportunity to get your kids some books they want to read for their summer reading homework.  The 5th graders will also be able to purchase the required summer reading books for Curtis Middle School.

Noyes Art Show with Popsicles on the Playground - Early June
All the Noyes students create artwork based on a central theme and decorate the school.   Families are invited to come tour the 'gallery' then enjoy some funtime with popsicles and friends on the playground.

5th Grade Events

5th Grade Events
5th Grade is an exciting year for our kids (and parents too!)  There are lots of events and fun things, but it can't happen without parent involvement.  We typically hold  two fundraisers during the year:
  • 5th Grade Cafe - please volunteer your 5th grader and yourself to help out.
  • March 21 - Movie Night - Volunteers Needed  - look for sign-up soon
Using the profits from the fundraisers, we host  a few End of Year - 5th grade only events, all to be held in June.
Field Day - TBD
5th Grade Graduation (Moving On Ceremony) - TBD
After School DJ Party - TBD

That is a lot of special events! It will take a lot of volunteers and be a lot of fun! We are currently looking for volunteers to co-chair some of the spring events....but we will continually be looking for help at all the events.

PTO Programs

BOKS - click here for registration form
BOKS is a before school physical activity program that prepares children for a day of learning and is an important step in helping children gain an appreciation of the benefits of exercise and healthy choices that will last a lifetime.   Classes are filled with team-oriented games and provide plenty of opportunity for play, since the program focuses on fun!  BOKS will run on Tues and Thurs mornings from 8am - 8:45am from May 1 - June 7 for the Fall Session.  Click for more information.

Birthday Books and Gift of Knowledge
You can honor a child's birthday or a special person in your child's life by donating to this program.  Your child can select a book from the library's special shelf and be the first one to check out the new book!  A book plate honors your donation and a photo of your student will be displayed in the library.  A birthday  or gift of knowledge book costs $15.  For more information, stop by the library or email the librarian, Barb Gogan.
