Lotus Blossom Will Hold Benefit For Jamaica Jammin’
Lotus Blossom will sponsor a benefit for Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School’s senior safe night, known as Jamaica Jammin’. On Tuesday, January 27th, Lotus Blossom will donate 20% of the total cost of each dine in or take-out order from 5-9 pm when customers mention “Jamaica Jammin’ “.
In its 22nd year, this graduation party is where seniors can celebrate together in a safe, substance-free environment. The all-night chaperoned tradition helps to keep the graduates safe and off the roads on graduation night. In years past, there has been more than 94% participation of graduating students.
Parent volunteers completely transform the school's gyms and surrounding hallways into a tropical paradise with amazing decorations and a wide variety of entertainment, food and opportunity to win prizes.
Lotus Blossom is located at 394 Boston Post Road in Sudbury. Customers can dine in or place take out orders by calling 978-443-0200. So celebrate the end of high school midterms and remember to say “Jamaica Jammin’ to support a safe graduation night.

"Gifted Kids: Tall Tales, Legends and Reality"

Presented by Aimee Yermish, PsyD

Do you wonder if your child might be gifted?

In her talk, Dr. Yermish will present a number of the most commonly-held but incorrect beliefs about gifted kids and the realities behind them. Dr. Yermish will answer the questions that she hears most often from parents, educators, doctors, and therapists. Finally, she will talk about how parents and other professionals can provide meaningful support for gifted kids in a practical way, and where to get more reliable information going forward.

Aimee Yermish, Psy.D. is a clinical psychologist and educational therapist in private practice. She works primarily with clients who manifest giftedness, disability, or multiple exceptionality (including ADHD, Asperger’s, learning disabilities, psychological disorders, and trauma responses). Her services include neuropsychological and psychological assessments, individual and family therapy, coaching/mentoring, consultation, and public speaking.
